N.J. LOTTERY BREAKS ANNUAL SALES RECORD

The New Jersey Lottery says it generated record sales this fiscal year of more than $3 billion.  Lottery officials announced on Thursday that the annual sales increase for the seventh year in a row, topping last year’s record of $2.9 billion. Many factors were cited for the reason for the sales record, including product innovation, an increased retailer base, and refreshed advertising. The New Jersey Lottery claims to be the states ‘s fourth-largest revenue producer.
