A very controversial rental tax on Jersey Shore properties will be repealed today by Governor Phil Murphy. A new bill to repeal the 11.6 percent rental tax on short term vacation rental properties arranged directly by owners will be wiped out. Murphy and democrats agreed to repeal the law during budget negotiations earlier this summer.
