MURPHY SIGNS PLASTIC, PAPER BAG BAN BILL INTO LAW IN THE GARDEN STATE

The plastic and paper bag ban in the Garden State has been signed into law by Governor Murphy.  Murphy on Wednesday signed legislation that outlaws single use plastic and paper bags, and styrofoam containers.  The new law goes into effect in May, 2022.  Local communities including Avalon and Stone Harbor are a few years ahead of this state legislation.
