The Murphy administration has made some deep financial cuts on the state level in order to help New Jersey to keep paying its bills. Funding for various programs have been cancelled, including the popular Homestead Rebate tax program. Funding for opioid recovery and college assistance has also been cut. The state has slashed $1 billion in various funding as tax revenues have fallen off the cliff.
