The auction for the bankrupt Revel Casino-Hotel property ran late into the night on Tuesday, with multiple bids entered on the property. The opening bid of $90 million, offered by Florida developer Glenn Straub, was eclipsed by a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management. NBC10 reports that the company owns the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas and the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas. Reportedly, reps for Brookfield entered a bid of $110 million late Tuesday night, in the 14th hour of the auction.
