It took five fire departments about 90 minutes to bring a two-alarm fire under control Thursday evening at a storage facility in the South Egg Harbor section of Galloway Township. The blaze was reported at about 6:28 p.m. at a building that is half tire warehouse and half wood-working business at South County Boulevard and Aloe Street. Fire officials estimated damage of about $100,000, mostly to used tires. Nobody was in the building when the fire broke out in the warehouse side and the cause of there fire is under investigation.
