A movie featuring local teenagers will be opening nationwide today. About 600 theatres are picking up the release of “Standing Ovation,” which is about five street smart junior high school friends form a singing group to compete in a national music video contest. The film was shot between 2008 and 2009. The song and dance featured movie has performers from all over South Jersey. Showings will take place in Rio Grande, Ocean City, Vineland, and Egg Harbor Township.
