MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN HEAD-ON CRASH

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in Hamilton Township as the result of a head-on collision. Authorities report that the motorcycle allegedly crossed the center line on Route 50 near Birch Street and struck an SUV driven by Ida Silipigni, 29, of Galloway. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and the three occupants of the SUV were taken to the hospital for evaluation of their injuries. The victim’s identity was not released, pending notification of next-of-kin.
