1.5 million people have avoided a trip to the Motor Vehicle Commission offices statewide by renewing their licenses online. The Motor Vehicle Commission announced that the “Skip the Trip” program has worked as planned and their regional offices are not as crowded as a result. These customers have also avoided many computer issues that have plagued the offices causing delays in getting some routine transactions finalized on some days.
