MOTHER, DAUGHTER DROWN IN KAYAKING ACCIDENT

Two women were killed during an accident involving a kayak on Saturday night.  New Jersey State Police say 45 year old Doris Rake and her 19 year old daughter Kathryn Haney both lost their lives during the kayaking incident on the Delaware River in Delaware Township.  Authorities found a kayak that was overturned on Friday evening, and found the bodies later.  Both were experienced kayakers; neither were wearing floatation devices.
