Charges have been filed against the mother of a young child that died in the bathtub by drowning. Millville Police announced that 21-year-old Yeis N. Nieves was charged with child abuse and hindering apprehension. Nieves left the bathtub water running with the one-year-old in the tub for at least 15 minutes, according to police. The incident took place on May 8.
