MOREY’S PIERS TO MOVE BEACH JAM EVENTS TO NORTH WILDWOOD

An on-going event fee dispute between Morey’s Piers and the City of Wildwood has resulted in events moving to North Wildwood. Morey’s Piers announced that its Beach Jam events in 2015 will move to North Wildwood. The organization had threatened to move its 2014 events out of Wildwood over a dispute regarding beach event fees increasing. Morey’s Piers did say the Beach Blast events will remain in Wildwood as it always had. Morey’s Piers noted event fees, less flood prone beaches, and the “very pro-active and pro-business attitude exercised by the North Wildwood government.”
