Cape May and Cumberland counties will be even more represented over the next two years in tourism dollars. The Southern Shore Regional DMO, which jointly promotes the two destinations got a bigger grant from the state to the tune of $165,000. The last two year cycle the region obtained $141,000. Chair of the organization, Diane Wieland, says that if the DMO does what it is supposed to, it expects to obtain the same dollar amount next year as apart of the two year cycle.
