Additional drug offense charges for a pair from Lower Township. 35 year old Cristine Pagan-Perez and 29 year old Kenneth Lopez-Atiles of North Cape May were originally charged by Wildwood police after they were found passed out in a parked car on January 3rd. The initial bust prompted a further investigation by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office and the Lower Township Police Department, who obtained search warrants. The execution of the searches led to the seizure of over 2,650 bags of suspected heroin with a street value of approximately $30,000. As a result, additional possession charges with intent to distibute were added. The pair are currently lodged in Atlantic County Correctional Facility for unrelated charges.
