Three teenagers suffered minor injuries during a quick-moving house fire that destroyed a home located at 592 21st Street in Avalon on Wednesday morning, July 25th.
Avalon Volunteer Fire Department Chief Ed Dean reports that the fire call came in at 3:52am from the one story, three bedroom ranch-style home. The home was occupied by nine teenagers all of the ages of 17 and 18 years old. It took the Avalon Volunteer Fire Department approximately 20 minutes to bring the fire under control. The fire was completely extinguished in about one hour.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
