A nationwide Moment of Silence will be observed on Friday at 9:30 a.m. to remember the massacre last week at when 26 people were killed in Sandy Hook, Conn. Residents of New Jersey will join in the remembrance with Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy and other local officials, who will convene on the steps of Edmond Town Hall in Newtown for the moment of silence. President Obama is expected to take part in the moment of silence at the White House.
