Cape May County residents who are looking to raise their home elevations could soon be eligible for up to $30,000 in hazard mitigation grants. The money will be awarded to homes that were not damaged by Hurricane Sandy, along with additional requirements. Public meetings will be held next week to answer questions about the program. The first will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at Lower Township Hall on Bayshore Road.
