A parade will kick off an annual event out of Ocean City tonight. The Miss New Jersey Pageant begins tonight at 7 p.m. with a boardwalk parade. The 27 contestants will dress in unusual costumes depicting exotic creatures. Then, preliminaries of the contest will be held on Thursday and Friday, with the final of the contest on Saturday. The winner will represent the state in the Miss America Pageant.
