MINOR SCARE: LOCAL MALL EVACUATION SATURDAY AFTERNOON

The Cumberland Mall was evacuated for a short time on Saturday afternoon thanks to a malfunctioning fire alarm. Vineland fire officials say the alarm sounded in the mall shortly before 3pm on Saturday and the mall was evacuated. There was no fire; patrons were allowed back in the building less than a half hour later.
