MINIMUM WAGE SET TO INCREASE AS 2013 COMES TO A CLOSE

As the calendar prepares to flip, an increase is coming to the minimum wage in the state. Voters decided they wanted an increase to the minimum wage via a ballot question in Nov. The new rate will be $8.25 per hour, versus the previous $7.25 per hour. Future increases will be tied to the rate of inflation as well.
