MILLVILLE RACE CAR DRIVER KILLED IN SPEEDWAY CRASH

A 58 year old motorsports driver from Millville lost his life today in Old Bridge during a drag race. Neal Parker could not stop his funny car at the end of the racetrack at Raceway Park and crashed. The accident claimed Parker’s life. New Jersey State Police continue to investigate the accident. Parker set his own personal best time during the drag race but his chute never opened, and Parker was killed when his car slammed into a sand area and burst through a safety net. Parker was driving a 2005 Monte Carlo at the time of his death.
