Millville is among the local communities looking to bolster its local police force. Peter Hand, Kenneth Sharretts Jr. and Israel Trejo-Mendiola all graduated recently from the Atlantic County Police Academy. Among with the three new hires, this brings the staff up to 72 officers. A number of local towns are adding to their police force in recent months as the economy has begun to rebound across the country.
