MIDDLE TWP. TO WORK WITH RETAILERS ON SHOPPING CART ISSUE

Middle Township officials held a meeting this week with retailers in an attempt to stem a problem of shopping carts winding up on various streets and throughout neighborhoods.  Owners of the retailers where the carts come from are promising to be proactive in an attempt to corral their carts and get them back on property.  The Township has considered an ordinance that would put brakes on the carts to prevent them from going too far.
