MIDDLE TWP. RECEIVES GRANT FOR ADA PLAYGROUND

Mayor Dan Lockwood announced that Middle Township has received a $268,182 state grant to install a playground for children with physical disabilities at the Clarence and Georgiana Davies Sports Complex. The Middle Township Gazette reports that the recent Open Space and Recreation Plan Survey showed a strong interest in the township for playground amenities and requests for ADA accessibility at recreation facilities. The money comes from the state Department of Community Affairs Community Development Block Grant Program.
