The Middle Township Committee meets this evening and will begin the process of soliciting for applications for some positions in township government. The committee has an item on its agenda for this evening’s meeting that requires a fair and open process for positions in government, including municipal public defender, hearing officer, and grant, utility and legislative consultant. The committee will also take up an issue involving a new contract for Police Chief Chris Leusner, and superior officers in the Middle Township Police Department. Easements for a santiary sewer project will also be discussed. The meeting begins at 6:00pm.
