MIDDLE TOWNSHIP TO HOLD BUDGET REVIEW MONDAY

The Middle Township Committee will meet Monday evening and is expected to review the proposed 2011 municipal budget.  The first draft of the budget includes a small tax increase in the community of 2.7 cents.  The budget was first presented to the community last month, and a public hearing will be held on the budget on April 18th.  Township officials say there has been a decrease in the ratable base; the committee says it has also cut salaries and wages.
