MIDDLE TOWNSHIP ROLLS OUT NEW CRIME MAPPING SOFTWARE

Middle Township is taking crime fighting to a new technology height. The police department is using a crime mapping software, which allows police to monitor spikes in activity in particular portions of the town. Some of the information will also be made available to the public so they can know what is going on in their community. The information is being displayed through the Web site RAIDS Online: http://www.raidsonline.com or through a RAIDS Online Mobile App that is available free on the App Store. The app makes all of this information accessible anywhere from a user’s mobile device.
