MIDDLE TOWNSHIP RESTRUCTURES ITS RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Middle Township Committee completed a restructuring of its Recreation Department leadership roles, naming two senior employees as Building Directors and putting in place a new certification process to provide continuing education for these Directors. Tammy Devitt will be Director of the Clarence Davies Goshen Complex; she will coordinate all programs run at that Center, as well as the Memory Lane Tree Memorial Program. Robert Matthews will be Director of the Martin Luther King Center in Whitesboro; he will coordinate programs there and continue to be the liaison with the Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro on the programs they provide at the King Center. The move is expected to save $35,000 a year.
