The Middle Township Committee met in closed session on Monday to discuss a resolution to restructure several township departments. According to a report in the Cape May County Herald, Solicitor Marcus Karavan said according to the Open Public Meetings Act, personnel matters can be held in closed session, unless all parties request or consent to a public hearing. The resolution also contained contractual matters for animal control and janitorial services that were currently out to bid. No action was taken at the session, according to Municipal Clerk Kimberly Krauss. Middle Township is currently searching for a new township administrator and a recreation director.
