MIDDLE TOWNSHIP POLICE SEARCHING FOR MISSING ELDERLY RESIDENT

Authorities are looking for an elderly man who was reported missing Monday afternoon. Middle Township Police say that 84-year-old Edward Burke was last scene hitchhiking on Route 9 in Rio Grande. He is described as a white male, around 5-foot-9, and weighing about 225 pounds. Police say he has blue eyes, gray hair and a heavy build.
