MIDDLE TOWNSHIP POLICE INVESTIGATE INCIDENT NEAR BANK

The Middle Township Police Department is investigating a Robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of July 20, 2010. The victim went to the Bank of America, Rte 47 Rio Grande, to make a deposit. An unknown assailant ran up assaulted him and stole and undisclosed amount of cash. The assailant then fled on foot heading south away from the bank. The suspect was dressed in dark clothing, and wearing a mask. The victim was unable to disclose any physical description other than he was a possible white male. There is no information on a possible vehicle used by the suspect.
