Middle Township may move towards a new program that will result in some unsafe, unwanted buildings being demolished. The Township Committee is expected to give final approvals to a new ordinance that would result in unsafe, abandoned buildings being taken down throughout the Township. The first draft of the ordinance has allocated $200,000 for the initial round of building demolitions. Final approval may come in early November.
