MIDDLE TOWNSHIP MAN PERISHES IN ACCIDENT

Middle Township Police say a 72-year old township man lost his life over the weekend during an accident at his home.  Police say the unidentified man was using a grinding tool to remove a lug nut from a tire when a spark accidentally ignited his oxygen tube and burned his face.  The man was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center an attempts to revive him failed.  The incident took place Saturday, around 11am, in the Green Creek section of the township.
