A 26 year old Middle Township man has been arrested and charged with weapons offenses and eluding authorities. Cape May County Prosecutor Bob Taylor announced that Luis Garcia of Whitesboro has been charged after a field stop at the Wildwood Housing Authority in Wildwood. Garcia attempted to discard a handgun and flee the area. He was taken to the county jail on $185,000 cash bail.
