A man was busting inside of a home for weapons and drug possession. Middle Township Police executed a court-issued search warrant at 213 South Railroad Ave. in Rio Grande. Justin Jenkins attempted to flush drugs down the toilet but was subdued by police after initially resisting.
As a result, 43 bags of suspected heroin, and a bag of suspected cocaine in an amount less than one-half ounce was seized. Jenkins was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of cocaine. Jenkins was further charged with resisting arrest, obstruction and aggravated assault, by spitting on a law enforcement officer. Jenkins was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail
