Middle Township Mayor Dan Lockwood announced that the Township will receive a major ecological restoration project totaling $1.65 million that will restore and protect both Reed’s Beach and Pierce’s Point on the bayside of the community. The funding is part of a $162 million federal investment into 45 restoration and research projects following Hurricane Sandy, which impacted the State of New Jersey just over one year ago.
