On December 13, 2010 Middle Township received reports of a structure fire at a residence on the 600 block of West Main Street in Whitesboro, NJ. The Cape May Court House volunteer fire company responded along with Green Creek Fire Company. Upon arrival they found a detached garage behind the house fully engulfed. Middle Township Major Crime Unit, Cape May County Fire Marshall’s office, and the Cape May County Sheriff’s k-9 unit assisted in the investigation. The fire is suspicious in nature, and is still under investigation by the Middle Township Police and the Cape May County Fire Marshall.
