U.S. Senator Robert Menendez is hoping to get the corruption trial against him thrown out of court. Menendez’s lawyers made an appeal to the Third Circuit Court to throw out the indictment against the senator. Menendez is accused of getting involved with federal agencies on behalf of his friend, in exchange for gifts and money. Its possible if the charges do go to trial that it won’t be until this time next year that the case is even heard.
