A pair of federal lawmakers are asking the Federal Trade Commission to look into Daily Fantasy Sports. U.S. Senator Robert Menendez and Congressman Frank Pallone asked for the review. The two main companies FanDuel and DraftKings have littered television and radio with ads promoting daily fantasy. A loophole in a 2006 rule allowed for fantasy sports to exist and while many feel it is gambling it is viewed in the legal eyes as a game of skill. There was a news stories where the employee of one of the main companies used internal data to win $350,000 on the other competitor’s site.
