The Press of Atlantic City Reports that New Jersey school districts must spend over $200 million in federal stimulus money by September, or else the money goes back to Washington. More than one third of New Jersey’s funding under the federal stimulus package has not yet been spent. Acting Education Commissioner Christopher Cerf reportedly sent a memo to school districts in the state, to “Use it or lose it”.
