A meeting was held in Somers Point on Monday night between regulators and fisherman about summer flounder regulations. Commercial and recreational fishing enthusiasts met with representatives from the Mid-Atlantic Fishing Council to review the guidelines for summer flounder fishing in New Jersey. This year the size limit for flounder was an 18-inch minimum, while Delaware’s regulation was at 16 inches. Flounder regulations are announced every spring for the coming year.
