To help prevent Medicare fraud, waste and abuse, the Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services will host a workshop to promote public awareness of health care fraud and engage seniors to become pro-active in detecting and reporting problems that can lead to billions of dollars in Medicare losses each year.
Beginning Thursday, September 22, a Medicare Fraud workshop will be presented at several Atlantic County Senior Centers. There is no charge to attend and residents 60 years and older are invited to stay for lunch by making a reservation at the site of their choice two days prior to the presentation.
