MECHANICAL PARKING LIFTS NOT AN OPTION IN PARTS OF OCEAN CITY

Mechanical parking lifts used to satisfy parking requirements in the city’s hospitality zone will no longer be allowed.  The Ocean City Council met before the weekend and eliminated the use of the parking lifts by hotels, motels, and other lodging units.  The ordinance that creates the new ban was fine tuned by Council during the spring.
