MEASURE TO EXPAND PROJECT MEDICINE DROP SIGNED INTO LAW

A piece of legislation to expand the “Project Medicine Drop” has been signed into law. Senator Jim Whelan was among the primary sponsors of the bill. The measure will allow for more receptacles to be placed at law enforcement agencies that participate properly with the program. “Project Medicine Drop” allows people to safely and anonymously get rid of prescription medication.
