MEASURE TO ALLOW INTERNATIONAL INTERNET GAMING IN NEW JERSEY ADVANCES

A bill that could potential bring big dollars to Atlantic City got initial approval in a Senate committee. The legislation aims at targeting international companies to relocate to Atlantic City to provide internet gaming. The legislation would authorize the Division of Gaming Enforcement to provide licenses to companies that offer Internet gaming to other countries where it is legal, allowing overseas customers, including casinos, to place wagers on casino games via the Internet. The bill now enters another committee for a vote.
