MEASURE ADVANCED TO MAKE SALT WATER TAFFY THE STATE’S CANDY

Legislation advanced this week that would mark salt water taffy as the official candy of the state. The measure advanced in the Assembly after fifth grade students from a North Jersey school testified saying it would aid in the recovery to the boardwalks of the state. It now heads to the full Assembly for consideration.
