The Philadelphia Eagles completed a blockbuster trade on Sunday. The Birds are trading quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins for two draft picks. The Eagles will be receiving a second-round pick this year, and either a third or fourth round pick next year. Surprisingly, Philadelphia was willing to trade McNabb within division, and will have to face the quarterback twice this season. McNabb is entering the final year of his contract. This trade opens the door for the beginning of the Kevin Kolb era in Philadelphia.
