The recount in the 2nd district actually added votes to the leader in its first day. Vince Mazzeo got three extra votes and now holds a 41 vote lead over Assemblyman John Amodeo. The Board of Elections is getting back together on Tuesday afternoon to try and finish the recount. Amadeo wanted the recount because of the razor thin margin.
