MAYS LANDING BRIDGE TO GET REPAIRS

Atlantic County will begin a $467,000 road improvement project on Sugar Hill Bridge in Mays Landing this month. The work could begin as early as Monday. The 73-year old structure, located on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, will receive extensive deck and sidewalk repairs to further extend its use. A one-way detour will be in place for eastbound traffic only through the completion of this project, expected to be approximately 2-1/2 months.
