MATT SZCZUR HEADED BACK TO TRIPLE A

Lower Cape May Regional High School graduate Matt Szczur is headed back to the minor leagues.  The Chicago Cubs over the weekend send Szczur back to Des Moines, Iowa, the club’s AAA affiliate.  Szczur has batted .167 for the Cubs this season on the major league level with two stolen bases.  In AAA, Szczur is hitting .330 with four home runs and eight stolen bases.
